Connect

No connection, no character. Get this part right.

What you need
  • FiveM from fivem.net. You need a legal copy of GTA V — Steam, Epic, or Rockstar.
  • Discord — you can't play here without it. Join here.
  • A working mic. Voice is proximity-based. No mic, no entry. Cycle voice range with ` (backtick).
  • Patience. First launch downloads several gigabytes of mods. Don't quit halfway through — you'll have to start over.
How to get in
  1. Open FiveM. Hit F8 to open the in-game console.
  2. Type connect blacklistrp.live — or grab the cfx code from Discord.
  3. Mods start downloading. Make a sandwich. The first install is long.
  4. You'll land on the character select screen. Pick a slot and build a person.

Whitelist

You may need to apply in Discord before connecting. Check the application channel — fill out the form, wait for approval.

About the server

Blacklist RP is a hardcore, realistic FiveM city run by Knoxy and Tokin. 64 slots. Built on the latest game version. Restarts twice a day — 6 AM and 6 PM, announced in-game and on Discord — so save your stuff before reconnect time.

Voice is proximity. Whisper, normal, or shout — cycle the range with ` (backtick). Radios let crews talk at distance, but anyone with a scanner can listen in.

Your Character

You're playing a character — not yourself. Their reputation builds. The way you lose builds it faster than the way you win.

You're not the main character

This is the single thing that separates good RP from bad RP on this server. You are playing a character. That character is not you. They have fears, limits, and bad days — and the best stories on this server come from those working against them.

  • You won't always win. You'll get robbed. Arrested. Out-shot. Out-talked. Out-played. That's not the server breaking — that's the server working.
  • Take the L when the L makes sense. Four guns on you, hands shaking, no exit? Comply. Let them take what they came for. The story is worth more than the cash in your pocket.
  • Fear RP is the whole point. A normal person doesn't square up against five armed men. They beg, they run, they cooperate. Fear isn't weakness — it's realism.
  • Lose gracefully. Don't argue in OOC. Don't retcon a scene because it didn't go your way. Eat the bad day, walk out with a story, come back smarter.
  • Win-at-all-costs is the cheapest way to be forgettable. The memorable players on this server are the ones who choose to lose well when their character would have lost.

The yardstick

If a movie character in your scene would beg, beg. If they'd panic, panic. If they'd crash out and get killed, crash out. Play the scene, not the score.

Pick a slot, build a person

You get up to 3 character slots. Each one is its own life — separate inventory, money, jobs, addiction history, vouches with dealers. What one character does doesn't follow you to another.

  1. Pick a slot. Fill out name, DOB, nationality, height.
  2. The barber/wardrobe creator opens. Take your time — you'll see this face in the mirror for months.
  3. You spawn at LSIA (Los Santos International Airport). From there, walk the city, find work, get a place. Returning characters respawn wherever they last logged out.

Have a backstory in your head before you spawn. Where are they from? What brought them to Los Santos? What are they afraid of? You don't have to write it down — but knowing the answer makes every scene easier to play.

Hard rule

Real-sounding names only. Joke names ("Big McThirsty", "xXSnipeKingXx") get bounced at review.

Documents matter

Open your phone (M) and check your inventory — your ID card and driver's license are real items. Carry them. If a cop asks for ID and you don't have it, you're a John Doe and that won't go well.

Need new paperwork? City Hall sells driver's licenses and other permits. The DMV is bundled in.

The First Hour

$1,000 in your pocket. Hunger and thirst already ticking. Don't be the new guy who starves in their underwear by the airport.

Step 1 — Eat, drink, don't die

Your character needs food and water. They run down constantly. Hit zero, your health starts dropping.

  • Find the nearest 24/7 — blue shopping bag icon on the map.
  • Buy water ($3) and a sandwich ($5–$6). You started with $1,000, so this is nothing.
  • Open your inventory (F2), right-click → use. Or drag food to your hotbar (slots 1–5) for one-tap access.

Anchor

Always carry at least 2 waters and 2 food items. Forgetting kills you in traffic.

Step 2 — Learn your phone

Hit M to open your phone. The important apps:

  • Banking — your bank account. If you're carrying more than $5k cash, deposit it. Mugging is a real career here.
  • Services — call LSFD, mechanic, taxi.
  • Realtor — browse houses and apartments for sale or rent.
  • Marketplace / Yellow Pages — find businesses, job listings, items for sale from other players.
Step 3 — Make your first real money

Don't try to rob a bank in your first hour. Pick a legal grind:

The economy is anchored to legal work

Honest jobs pay an honest hourly. Crime payouts scale off that, not the other way around. There is no get-rich-quick on this server — there's only get-rich-eventually if you stick at one thing.

Step 4 — License up and get wheels

Walk into City Hall and buy your driver's license. Drive without it and any cop who runs your plate will write you up.

Cars: hit the dealership. Premium and Luxury tiers cover new vehicles. Used dealers are cheaper if you're broke. Bikes and boats have their own showrooms. Don't blow your savings on a supercar in week one — you'll get robbed in it.

How the inventory works
  • Hotbar — slots 1 through 5. Press the number to use or equip.
  • Drag items between slots and containers. Right-click for use/give/drop.
  • Hold Shift while dragging to split a stack.
  • Trunks — walk to the back of any car, hold L-Alt, click the prompt.
  • Glove box — same thing at the driver's door.
  • Drops — anything you drop is on the ground, visible to other players, and despawns eventually.

Weight is real

You have a kg limit. A brick of cocaine is not a feather. Stuff your trunk; don't carry your whole stash.

The Economy

Money has weight here. You earn it slowly. You spend it too fast. Carrying too much makes you a target.

How money is balanced

Honest legal work is the baseline. Crime scales off that, not the other way around. The deeper you go, the more you can earn — and the more you can lose.

  • Legal grind — slow and steady. The floor every other career stacks on top of.
  • Street hustler — better hourly than legal work. Pays in heat.
  • Cook / chemist — multi-step pipeline. The margins are real, but raids and chemical fume addiction are part of the gig.
  • Cartel operator — biggest paydays on the server. State Police attention scales with it. Bricks rot if you sit on them.

Big paydays exist. They cost you something every time.

Two kinds of money
  • Cash — physical. Carried on your person. Drug sales pay you in cash directly. Lose it if you get robbed. Deposit it at an ATM if you're carrying serious money.
  • Bank — safe. ATMs, transfers, payroll. Most legal jobs drop here automatically. Cops can subpoena bank records.

No dirty/clean distinction. No money laundering. A dollar is a dollar — but every transaction is logged in the admin audit. Don't dupe.

What things cost

Prices are visible at every counter. Walk into a 24/7, the pharmacy, the pawn shop, the gun store, or the industrial supply and the menu shows you what's on offer.

What's worth knowing up front:

  • 24/7 stocks survival basics — water, sandwiches, burgers, coffee. Cheap. Always carry a couple of each.
  • Hardware sells repair kits, drills, jerry cans, cleaning kits. Get a jerry can early — running out of fuel on a country road is a long walk.
  • Pharmacy stocks bandages, painkillers, IFAKs, medikits, naloxone. LSFD carry better gear. You're buying field aid.
  • Pawn shop buys luxury items players have looted — watches, gold, diamonds, electronics. Predictable rates.
  • Ammu-Nation needs a weapons license. Pistols are entry-level, long guns scale up significantly. Bulletproof vests are pricey but they save lives.
  • Industrial supply stocks the legal chemicals — explosives precursors, solvents, fertilizers. Watched.

You'll figure out what's a rip-off and what's a steal in your first few hours.

Jobs & Careers

Pick a lane. Specialists eat. Combine roles to thrive.

Career roles — earned, not applied for

These are filled through in-character interviews and ride-alongs — not Discord applications. Most have probation, training, and rank progression.

State PoliceThe only law enforcement on the server. Patrol, traffic stops, robberies, K9 sweeps, raids. Ranks: Recruit → Officer → Sergeant → Lieutenant → Chief. New recruits go through a formal Field Training Officer (FTO) program before solo patrol.
LSFDLos Santos Fire Department — the city's fire-branded medical corps. Respond to /911 calls, treat and revive players in the field, run Pillbox. You'll roll rescue ambulances and fire-liveried units, but the job is medicine and extraction — LSFD doesn't fight fires. Ranks: Firefighter → Engineer → Lieutenant → Captain → Chief.
Judge / LawyerThe DOJ. Real courtroom. Real trials. People's freedom is on the line.
RealtorList, show, and sell houses to players. Take a commission.
ReporterWeazel News. Cover the city. Get in the middle of things.
Car dealerRun the dealership floor. Sell cars to players, take commission.
MechanicShops at LSCustoms and Mirror Park Workshop. Repair and tune player cars on call.
Civilian jobs — clock in and earn

No application needed. Walk into City Hall, sign up, start working.

  • Trucker — long-haul deliveries, paid per mile.
  • Garbage — South LS depot, route runs.
  • Bus driver — public transit. Dependable, dull.
  • Taxi — players or NPCs need rides.
  • Tow — drag wrecks and abandoned cars to impound.
  • NPC towing — solo loop with NPC clients. No waiting around.
  • Mining — pickaxe in hand, swing at the quarry, sell raw ore.
  • Tattoo artist — seven shop locations: Vespucci, Paleto Bay, Rockford, East LS, Sandy Shores, Chumash, and Underground.
  • Treasure hunter — find buried caches across the map.
Run your own business

The big move. Hire employees, set prices, manage stock, take a cut. Currently in player hands (rotates — ask in Discord):

  • Tattoo studios

Crime

Robberies, heists, hustles. Don't expect to walk away from all of them. Don't expect to keep what you take if you get sloppy.

Petty crime — solo, low risk
  • Pickpocket — sneak up on an NPC, lift cash and a phone. Don't get caught.
  • Dumpster diving — search dumpsters and bins. Pull discarded mail and patient records — feedstock for forging fake IDs and prescription pads.
  • Cat-converter theft — saw cats off any non-police vehicle with mechanic tools. Quick under-the-car job for scrap metal. Universal target.
  • Copper theft — strip rooftop AC units with a cast saw. Climb utility poles with a ladder and snip wires for raw metal. Multi-stage with tool requirements.
  • Gas siphoning — siphon hose + empty gas can drains a vehicle. Or detach a propane tank from a BBQ — heavy, valuable. Hands smell like fuel for a reason.
  • Porch pirate — snatch delivery packages, stash them in your trunk, slice them open with a knife. Random loot, random value — could be anything from gold-tier electronics to a 24-pack of toilet paper.
  • ATM robbery — drill an ATM and hack the USB. Cooldown applies, silent alarm to dispatch.
  • Pharmacy heist — crack the safe via random minigame. Loot common pills + rare drug precursors. Per-location cooldown. A stolen Rx pad + visit to a pharmacist NPC also gets you pharmaceutical bottles.
Mid-tier — bring friends
  • Chop shop — steal a car, deliver to the rotating chop point. Paid by vehicle class and condition. Beaters get rejected. Per-player cooldown applies. Triggers a dispatch alert to police.
  • Knock over a runner — corner a player drug runner, take their product.
  • House raids — once police have a warrant, the raid clock starts. Get them out or hold the door.
  • Store robberies — LTD convenience stores + liquor stores spread across the city. Solo-capable. Silent alarm to dispatch.

Cooldowns are real

Most crimes lock you out after you pull them. Try to grind a heist on repeat and you'll get banned.

Big bets & high stakes
  • Diamond Casino — blackjack, roulette, slots, poker, horse races. Real money on the table. Real losses.
  • The loan shark — see Section 13. Borrow at compounding interest. Miss the deadline and his crew rolls up in a black SUV with bats and pistols.
  • Cartel runs — bricks delivered to the Connect's rotating buyers. The biggest payday on the server. See section 08.
  • Skill minigames — dozens of hacks, lockpicks, and wire-cuts woven through every serious crime. Practice them, your odds get better.

Eight different ways to play the game. Vouch-gated bulk. The deepest system on the server — built so dealers, growers, and cooks all have somewhere to be.

Drug sales pay you in cash, on the spot. Carry it carefully — robberies happen.

Rotating dealersThirteen rotating dealers spread across the city — each specialized in a drug category. Spots rotate periodically. Three of them gate behind a vouch; the rest are open. Build a relationship by selling, hit the threshold, and you'll get vouched into the bulk system.
Static dealersTwo fixed-NPC dealers around the city. Lower per-unit rate, no rotation.
Crack HouseGarbage price, but no vouch, no heat. Dump and go.
Bulk WholesaleFour wholesale pipelines (opioids, coke, psychedelics, stimulants). Big quantities. Need three dealer vouches to even get the meeting.

PushersNPCs around the map. Each one only buys during specific hours.
The ConnectCartel bulk. Bricks. The biggest payday on the server. The biggest risk too.
Free precursors — scavenge in the wild

Some chemists work the gray market. Some chemists go to the desert.

  • Acacia bark — wild acacia stands scattered across the desert and the northern edge of the map. Strip the bark with the Search target. Per-node cooldown.
  • No map blip. You have to find them. Pace the desert and look. Word of mouth among chemists.
  • Acacia bark feeds a high-tier psychedelic recipe. Free if you have the legs. Don't waste it.
The gotchas — what trips up new players
  • Don't try to flip street drugs. Anything you buy off a corner is stamped retail. Dealers won't touch it. The system catches you.
  • Prices drop as you sell. Server-wide market decay — every unit you sell pushes the price down. Bulk dumps pay the same penalty unit by unit. There is a floor.
  • Bricks rot. Packaged products expire on a clock. Don't hoard.
  • One traphouse per character. Want a second? Make a second character.
  • Cooking gets you addicted. Chemical fumes carry a per-batch addiction risk. Even if you never use, you can end up hooked. Heavy addiction tanks your sale prices, and past a certain threshold dealers refuse you outright.
  • You can't crew-spam a sale. Five players hammering the bulk dealer at once will queue and get the same per-unit price drop you would have gotten alone.

Vehicles

Real fueling. Real damage. Real keys. Real consequences for hitting curbs at 80.

Buying a car
  • Premium Deluxe Motorsport (PDM) — player-owned dealership stocking the everyday range plus some performance options.
  • Vinewood — second player-owned floor, higher-end inventory.
  • Hawick Auto Exotic — server-run baseline. Always open when player dealers aren't.
  • Used dealerships — Larry's (Sandy Shores) and Mosley's (Vespucci). Cheaper cars, sometimes pre-modded, often pre-banged-up.

Owned cars come with keys. You manage them through your radial menu — give them out, take them back, lock the doors. Park anywhere there's a garage marker on the map.

The server runs custom car packs beyond stock GTA V — muscle, motorcycles, choppers, trucks, slabs, and State Police / LSFD variants. The selection is bigger than what you'd find on most servers.

Fuel, damage, breaking in
  • Fuel runs out. Refuel at any gas station — pumps are scattered around the map. Carry a jerrycan for the inevitable empty-tank moment.
  • Damage is real. Hits to the body affect performance and resale value. A mechanic shop can put it right.
  • Hotwire — wire-matching minigame to start a car you don't own. Faster you are, less heat you pull. Bring a screwdriver and an alibi.
  • Lockpick — opens most civilian cars. High-end and police vehicles need more skill or specialized gear.
Mods, tuning, looking the part

Mechanics install at their shop. Bring your car (and your wallet) and they'll bolt on:

  • Performance: engine upgrades, brakes, transmission (auto or manual), turbo.
  • Looks: paint, wheels, livery, plates, window tint, neon.
  • Body: bumpers, hoods, spoilers, the works.

Track times are taken seriously around here. Tuning a fast car is the difference between getting away and getting caught.

Housing

Buy a place. Stash your stuff. Get raided if you're sloppy.

Buying a house
  • Open the realtor app on your phone, browse what's for sale or rent.
  • Schedule a viewing — a player realtor will let you walk through the place.
  • Once it's yours: stash items, store vehicles, place furniture using the built-in interior decorator.
  • Add keyholders — crew members who can come and go without you opening the door.

Houses get raided

Police with a warrant and a door ram can force entry. Trap houses get a 2-minute raid window where presence at the door = a bust. If you've been running an operation out of your bedroom and dispatch knows, this is how you find out. Lock your shit. Stash carefully.

Apartments & custom interiors

Apartments are the cheap way in. Less storage, smaller footprint, but you have a key to the city.

The server has 85+ unique custom interiors you won't find on the stock GTA V map — mansions, warehouses, bunkers, retail spaces, club basements. Several are tied to housing listings or job locations. They're walkable, furnishable, and built to feel real.

Crews & Gangs

Solo is fine. Crew is better. A real gang is the endgame.

Joining a crew
  • One gang per character. Pick wisely.
  • Existing gangs recruit in Discord. Find the one whose energy matches yours.
  • Want to start your own? Recruit four active members, submit to staff for approval. Be ready to defend it.
Turf wars

Run drugs in your gang's territory and you take home a bonus on every sale.

That's why turf matters. That's why other crews want yours.

Gang violence has RP requirements — drive-bys and unprovoked attacks need scene buildup. Read the rules section before you start something. Staff watches.

Combat & Death

This is hardcore. Every shot matters. Every death has a price.

Health, armor, stress
  • HP — 100 max. Headshots can drop you in one. Armor changes that math.
  • Armor — bulletproof vest from Ammu-Nation. Eats damage before your health does. Get one before you start a fight.
  • Stress — extended gunfights raise your stress. High stress shakes your aim. Bring it down: drink coffee, smoke a joint, sit down somewhere quiet.
  • Bleeding — bandage stops the bleed and gives back some health. IFAKs and medikits handle worse wounds.
Down vs. dead
  1. Your HP hits zero → you go down. You're bleeding out. You can be saved.
  2. Call LSFD with /911. Or another player can patch you up with a bandage for a partial heal.
  3. Bleed out completely → you respawn at the hospital. Wake up with a bill and a story.

New Life Rule

After you go down or die, your character loses all memory of the situation and the people involved. You cannot return to the area for 30–60 minutes. No revenge runs. No "remembering" who shot you. Re-engaging is a hard rule violation.

When the bullets fly
  • Initiation — give a verbal threat before you open fire. Self-defense doesn't need it; pre-meditated does.
  • Hands up = surrender. Once they comply, you can't kill them. Take what you came for and go.
  • Comply when you should. If the drop is on you — multiple guns, no exit, hands raised — take the L. Forcing a 1v5 firefight to keep $400 in your pocket is power-gaming, not RP. Read Section 02.
  • No VDM. Running people over for fun is an instant ban.
  • No RDM. Random deathmatch — shooting without an RP reason — same.
  • Use realism, not "safe zones." No one says "green zone" or "safe zone" here. Hospital, PD, busy retail — you don't shoot someone there because cops, LSFD, witnesses, and consequences exist, not because the server flags it. Your character has eyes. Use them.

What Makes This Server Different

Most FiveM servers don't have these systems. They're what earns the "Hardcore" tag.

Your character can become an addict

Use enough drugs and your character gets hooked. Multiple drug families are tracked separately — opioids, stimulants, psychedelics, empathogens, dissociatives, depressants, cannabis — each with its own tolerance and addiction score.

  • Tolerance — every use bumps it. The high gets weaker. You need more to feel anything. Decays slowly while clean.
  • Withdrawal — skip a dose if you're already hooked and it kicks in. Mild → Moderate → Severe → Critical. Screen shake, blur, stamina drain, vomiting. Worse the longer you wait.
  • Overdose — high-potency drugs and reverse-tolerance combos can kill you. LSFD picks you up at Pillbox. Naloxone in their bag is the difference between waking up and not.
  • Rehab NPC at Pillbox — pay to clear an addiction family. Costs scale by how dependent you've become. Cooldown applies.
  • Suboxone Clinic at Pillbox — maintenance meds for opioid and stim addicts. Cheaper than rehab, but you stay hooked.
  • Prison Infirmary at Bolingbroke — same maintenance flow, free, but only inmates can access it.

Cooks get hit too. Chemical fumes carry a per-batch addiction risk. Cartel chemists who never touch the product still have to manage their habit.

Permanent damage: enough lifetime use of certain drug families permanently lowers your max HP. Long-term users are physically diminished. There's a floor — you won't die just from being clean — but you carry the scars.

Your business stops

Heavy addiction tanks your sale prices. Past a certain threshold, dealers refuse to buy from you outright. Get clean or stop earning.

Drugs make you hallucinate

Every drug in the catalog has its own visual + behavioral effects. LSD warps the world. DMT puts you somewhere else. Lean slows you down. Meth gives you tweaker tremors and bug hallucinations. Wet makes you forget where you are. Some opioids might just kill you.

Effects come in tiers. At higher tiers, ghost peds can appear in your peripheral vision. They despawn when you get close — you're the only one who sees them.

It's all localized — only you see what's happening. The player standing next to you sees a normal alley. You're the one tripping.

Be careful what you eat. Some chemicals are not for ingesting. Drink the wrong precursor and you'll take direct damage. Some kill you outright.

The hood is alive — and watching

The homeless population on skid row isn't decoration. They cycle through their own state machine — smoking pipes, shooting up, drinking, passed out. Stand near someone actively using for too long and you'll catch a hallucination yourself. Secondhand exposure is a real mechanic.

K9 units actually find your stash

Criminals can hide contraband in secret compartments on a vehicle. Use a wrench to inspect — opens an isolated stash on that vehicle. Drop hard contraband in there and the vehicle is "dirty."

Police K9 units (Rottweilers) — handled by officers with the K9 leash item — sniff vehicles for contraband. The dog walks to the vehicle, sniffs, and barks if it finds something — telling the officer which compartment the stash is in.

The K9 has stamina. Push the dog hard and it gets fatigued — and a fatigued dog gives false positives. Smart criminals know when shift change is.

The K9 is server-shared — every officer in range sees the same dog. Two cops, one dog. Coordinate your sweeps.

Cops can wiretap you

Police investigators have real surveillance gear:

  • Body wire — officer plants it on a player (informant flip RP). The wired player joins a covert police radio channel and shows a HUD indicator. Anyone can /patdown nearby players to find a wire.
  • Vehicle hot-mic — cop in the driver seat wires the dashboard. Every player who enters that vehicle automatically joins the radio channel. Passengers can /removewirecar to find and rip it out.
  • GPS tracker — magnetic device under the vehicle. Live blip on every cop's radar. /removegps to crouch under the car and pull it.
  • RF Scanner — Geiger-counter audio + directional HUD. Click rate gets faster as you approach a bug. Locks on close range and shows you bearing, distance, and what type of bug it is. Available to anyone — paranoid criminals carry one.

Crimes ping cops automatically

Cops aren't sitting at PD waiting for someone to call /911. Active crimes trigger dispatch automatically:

  • Gunshots → cops get pinged with the location.
  • ATM drilled → silent alarm.
  • Store register robbed → panic button.
  • Vehicle theft, pharmacy heist, store holdup — all auto-alert.

Police carry an MDT — they can run your plate, pull your record, file reports, and manage active warrants from the road.

Run a traphouse

Own one traphouse per character. Cook crack on the stove using common cut materials. Deploy NPC runners to street corners around the city. They sell passively for a stretch out and back — you collect the bulk of the take, they keep a small commission.

Heat builds with every cook and every sale. Cross a threshold and the cops will raid you. Below that, it's a roll of the dice. When the raid alarm sounds, you have a brief window to bolt or hold the door.

Each house tracks total cooked, total sold, total earned, raids survived, raids lost, runners lost. Your ledger persists. Rivals can't kick the door (yet) — but they can hit your corners.

Owe the loan shark? His crew rolls deep

Need cash fast and don't want a bank record? The loan shark runs an office in the city. He's flanked by his lieutenant against the wall and a few wandering goons working the lot. Hard to miss once you find it.

Multiple loan tiers — small to large. Each has its own interest rate and payback window. Larger loans cost more and come due faster.

Pay back at his desk before the clock hits zero. Miss the deadline and overdue interest compounds. Phone mail starts hitting your inbox — "Tick tock. Clock's running."

Then the crew comes. Armed enforcers in a black SUV roll up wherever you are. Pay the lead enforcer during the demand window, or fight. Try to run and your debt grows. Defeat the whole crew and you get a reprieve before the next visit.

Run a stable

Different from hiring on the street (Section 13 covers street prostitutes). The stable is your business — hire NPC employees, dispatch them to motels and hotels around the city, take the cut.

Reputation tiers gate how many girls you can run at once and bump your pay multiplier. Day/night cycles, weather, and whether you drive her to the door all affect earnings.

While she's working, random events fire: angry clients you defend her from, rival gang ambushes en route, wired clients that bring heat, drug-deal clients that pay extra, surprise police pings. Roll the dice.

Declare your beef — it's a ledger, not a scoreboard

/ops opens a dark NUI terminal. The rule that makes it different: only declared beef is ever logged. A drop counts when you've named someone your opp, or your gangs are at war — random violence with no called-out relationship is invisible to the system. Every line was declared first. Four tabs:

  • My Ops — name a specific player as an opp. Their card tracks the beef between the two of you — who's pressing and who's ducking — counting only what happened after you called it.
  • Gang War — declare faction-vs-faction war. While it's live, both crews see a running score banner. Persistent until someone ends it.
  • The Wire — what the street knows: your beef, your people, public wars. Not a global kill feed — no declared beef, and the streets stay quiet.
  • My Card — your own beef history and recent moves. Your record, nobody else's.

When your opp drops you, a GOT SMOKED overlay takes the screen; when you drop them, anyone tracking that beef gets an OPP DOWN ticker. The Hot Blocks panel surfaces where declared conflict has flared in the last 7 days — locations, not a body count.

No scoreboard

There's no all-time kill leaderboard, no K/D flex, no "top killers" board anywhere on this server. Beef is a story you declared, not a high score.

Underworld rep matters across seven categories

Seven reputation categories track separately for every player:

  • Stimulants — coke, meth, crack, bath salts.
  • Opioids — heroin, fentanyl, morphine, lean.
  • Psychedelics — LSD, DMT, shrooms, 2CB, MDMA, ket, GHB, PCP.
  • Pharma — diverted pills, pharmacy heists.
  • Cannabis — weed, hash, edibles, sommelier sales.
  • Fence — pawn shop, stolen goods, robbery loot.
  • Heist — pharmacy / jewellery / multi-stage heist completions.

Five ranks per category — Unknown → Hustler → Connected → Established → Legend — capped at 10000 XP. Rep persists offline. Score it by selling, dealing, and completing jobs that fall into that category. /streetrep opens a NUI panel showing where you stand. Higher rep unlocks vouches at dealers, bigger payouts at user doors, and access to the bulk pipeline.

Every dollar is logged

Every cash transfer, drug sale, store purchase, paycheck, and robbery on this server is recorded. The whole money flow lives in an audit log only admins see.

That means duping, exploits, "where did that $50k come from" — all answerable in seconds. Don't bother trying. The hammer comes down fast.

Side hustles and odd jobs
  • Diamond Casino — blackjack, roulette, slots, poker, horse races. Real money, real losses. House always wins eventually.
  • Treasure hunting — find buried caches around the map for cash.
  • Hire street prostitutes — pay to hire, more for ERP services. They follow you for a session. Lapdance triggers if you idle near them. Different animations on foot vs. in a vehicle. Cops nearby? She flees.
  • Sommelier sales — discreet boutique drug buyer somewhere up in the hills. Pays premium for named strain weed only. Generic weed bag won't fly. Cooldown applies. Zero heat. Class operation.
  • Acacia bark gathering — wild desert nodes. DMT precursor. No map blip — find them on foot.
  • NPC towing — solo PvE tow loop. Multiple scenario types (breakdowns, abandoned vehicles, pileups, heavy commercial, underwater, repossessions). Distressed owners can be calmed for a bonus or ignored for a penalty (and a chance they call cops). Rank progression with payout multipliers.
Hotwiring, lockpicking, minigames
  • Hotwire — wire-matching minigame to start a car you don't own. Match colored wires left-to-right against a clock. Faster you are, less heat you pull. Higher-difficulty cars throw more wires and more color variants at you.
  • Lockpick — opens most civilian cars. High-end and police vehicles need more.
  • Dozens of minigames woven through serious crimes — alarm bypass, hack consoles, wire cuts, pulse sync, signal jam, packet snatch, anagrams. Skill matters. You'll get better.
Rare items have a viewer

Letters, ledgers, wanted posters — when you use one of these items, a themed full-screen viewer opens. Letters look like cream paper with handwriting. Polaroids have a white frame and marker text. Blueprints get a dark blueprint grid.

Drop a meaningful item in someone's pocket during a heist or RP scene and they'll actually see it the way you intended.

The Rules

This is a real-life simulation, not a game. Every action must reflect realistic human behavior, risk, and consequence. Read these once. We enforce them. Discord has the long version — this is what you absolutely cannot screw up.

The big four — instant ban
  1. RDM — random deathmatch. Shooting someone with no RP reason. Ban.
  2. VDM — running people over for fun. Ban.
  3. Cheating — mod menus, executors, packet manipulation. Permanent.
  4. Combat logging — disconnecting mid-scene to escape consequences. Permanent.
How to roleplay properly
  • FailRP — breaking character, doing unrealistic things. Warning, then ban.
  • Powergaming — forcing outcomes on other players without giving them a chance to RP back.
  • Metagaming — using out-of-game info (Discord chat, someone's stream) in-game.
  • Mixing IC and OOC — talking in-character over an out-of-character channel mid-scene.
  • NVL (no value for life) — your character is not suicidal. If you're outnumbered, outgunned, or threatened, you comply. You are not a hero. Picking fights you can't win is a violation.
  • NLR (new life rule) — after you go down or die, your character forgets the situation and the people involved. Do not return to the area for 30–60 minutes. No "remembering" who shot you. No revenge runs.
  • Win mentality is prohibited. RP is about story, not victory. Lose well.
  • No "content creator" stunts. Don't break immersion to chase clips.
Combat, hostages & crime conduct
  • Initiation — give a threat before you shoot. Pre-meditation needs words first. No instant kills.
  • Compliance — hands up means hands off. You can't kill someone who surrendered.
  • Hostages are people. Treat them like real humans. No trolling, no abuse, no executing them for fun. They're a tool for buildup, not a punching bag.
  • No cop bait — don't engage cops without RP buildup. Don't shoot at PD just to start something.
  • No 3rd-party drag-in — don't pull uninvolved players into your scene without buildup.
  • No "safe zones" or "green zones" — those terms aren't used here. Avoid combat where it wouldn't realistically happen (hospital, PD, busy storefronts) because witnesses and cops exist, not because the server flags the spot.
  • Crime requires planning, motive, and risk awareness. Repetitive crime loops aren't realistic — bank-bank-bank or rob-rob-rob will get you sanctioned. Cooldowns between major scores are the bare minimum.
Driving & vehicle realism
  • Drive like a person, not a stunt double. Road laws, lane discipline, speed limits — they exist. Cops will stop you for blowing through them.
  • High-speed driving requires justification. A chase, a getaway, an emergency. Driving a supercar at 200 down Vinewood for fun isn't RP.
  • Vehicles are valuable assets. Crashing your way out of a problem because "it's a game" is FailRP. Wrecks have consequences — repair bills, impound, body damage.
  • No reckless rams or VDM-by-any-other-name. If your move would kill someone in real life, expect the same scrutiny as if you'd shot them.
Law enforcement conduct

Cops are held to a stricter standard than civilians. A badge is not a license to brawl.

  • Escalation of force. Voice commands → less-lethal → lethal. Skipping rungs is a violation.
  • Realistic procedure. Identify yourself. Read rights when they apply. Document the stop. Don't shortcut for action.
  • Communication protocols. Use the radio. Call for backup before charging into something. Lone-wolf "hero cop" behavior is a write-up.
  • No rushing situations to fight. If a scene can be de-escalated, de-escalate it. Combat is a last resort, not a goal.
Enforcement ladder

This is a zero-tolerance realism server. Punishments scale by severity:

Memorize that. Run every action through that filter before you do it. If you'd be on the news for it, it might be RP. If you'd be in a YouTube fail compilation for it, it's not.

FAQ

The questions everyone asks in their first week.

I crashed. Did I lose everything?

No. Your items and cash are saved on the server. Rejoin as fast as you can — if you crashed mid-scene, explain in /ooc or to staff so the other side knows. Never use a "crash" to escape consequences. Staff sees logs.

Where do I report bugs?

The bug-reports channel in Discord. Include: what you were doing, what should have happened, what actually happened, a screenshot or clip if you've got one, your character name, and roughly when it happened. The more you give, the faster it gets fixed.

Can I stream or record?

Yes. Tag your content with #BlacklistRP. Don't post staff DMs. Don't reveal exploits. Don't dox other players' out-of-character info. Don't stream an admin sit without permission. Beyond that — make us look good.

How do I become staff or a dev?

Don't ask. Be active. Roleplay well. Follow the rules. Contribute. Staff invitations are offered, not applied for. The fastest way to never be staff is to keep asking.

I'm stuck in a wall / vehicle / animation

Cancel any active emote with X first. If you're truly stuck, file a /report and ask for an admin to help. If it keeps happening, file a bug report with steps to reproduce.

The server kicked me — what happened?

If everyone got booted at once, that's the scheduled restart — the city resets at 6 AM and 6 PM. Wait a couple minutes and reconnect. If only you got kicked, check Discord for moderation messages — could be a warn, could be a cooldown.

RP glossary — what these terms actually mean
  • IC — In Character. Anything your character says or does in-game.
  • OOC — Out of Character. The real you talking through your character. Use /ooc sparingly.
  • NLR — New Life Rule. After you go down or die, your character forgets the situation and the people involved. No returning to the area for 30–60 minutes. No revenge.
  • RDM — Random Deathmatch. Shooting someone with no RP reason. Instant ban.
  • VDM — Vehicular Deathmatch. Running people over for fun. Instant ban.
